Abstract/Summary:
In the past two hundred years, the nationalistic theory and nationlism have influenced the process of the world greatly. After the First World War and the World War Two, there appeared two global nationlism waves successively that end the condition of the colonial rule and historical enmity, promote the tendency of the multipole of the world. But after the end of the Cold War, the national splittist and ethnic separatist waves have overflowed quickly in the world. Some united countries split, some nations linked with other nations in the process of the history by common economy, politics and culture also asked for establishing their own countries. In 1992,under "the theory of national self-determination" almost all of the main nations in Soviet Union separated from the others. At the same time, so as it in Yugoslavia. The west s adding fuel to the flames purposely fostered the uncontrolled tendency. It became a world separatist wave from Europe to America, from Asia to Africa. The true essence of the principle of the national self-determination s right is the decolonization of the nations that had been dependence countries under colonial rule. The principle is closely linked to that of statesovereignty and noninterference in other countries internal affairs, and it does not mean that people can unrestrictedly extend the applicable framework of the national self-determination s right in spite of corresponding historical conditions. Both the proposition of "one nation-state of one ethnic group" , that stands for a nation-state s ethnic homogeneity in national structure, and the proposition of "one ethnic group in one nation-state" , that advocate that every ethnic group must have its own nation-state, are not only biased and absurd theoretically, but also bound to strengthen national splittist and ethnic separatist movements unreasonableness and destructiveness in practice.
