Economic Globalization And Socialism With Chinese Characteristics

Since 1990s, every country in the whole world has been influencing by the economic globalization. It possesses the critical meaning to study economic globalization for our under-going constructing of great socialist career with Chinese characteristics. Firstly, the article introduces the three phases and processes of economic globalization which is promoted by the revolution of science and technology and makes an incisive analysis for the impetus of economic globalization. It also discusses the positive and negative influence of economic globalization towards developed countries and developing countries. Then, the article briefly introduces and analyzes the different definition of economic globalization from scholars of china and foreign countries, and on the basis of which the article states it is either a historical process or a state and it is the interaction between productive forces and productive relations in the worldwide. In order to find the root of the conclusion in terms of theory, the article systematically analyzes the expositions on economic globalization by Marxist writers of classics, which mainly include the opinion that economic globalization is the result of the development of productive forces and the objective rule and inevitable trend of economic development. Each country should adjust to the trend rather than close the communications at the borders. So the expositions of content and principles on economic globalization by Maozedong and Dengxiaoping has the great theoretical meaning for our undergoing constructing of socialist modernization. At last, the article gives on account of the process of economic globalization in china. It analyzes the chance for the economic development, the changing of increasing way of economy and the establishment of new international economic order as well as the challenge for the stability of Chinese politics, economic development and culture improving which brought by economic globalization. To face the chance and the challenge, the article points out our strategic countermeasure: Macroscopically we should play our role in expanding opening, improve the controlling ability of economy of the government, and safeguard the sovereignty of the country and the security of economy; Microscopically we should improve the ability of international competition, develop the education of science and technology, protect national industry, keep a lookout on financial risk and get along well with other countries and so on.
