Citic Industrial Bank Anshan Branch Development Strategy

CITIC Industrial Bank Anshan Branch (Anshan C~C) was founded in 2000,the turn of the century,which is a vital link between the past and the future, and has its significance in the social and economic development in China. The paper analyses the case of drawing up development strate- gy of Anshan CITIC, through which find a way for the healthy growth of commercial ~nk, especially its braches. This final solution is sup- posed to be universally significant for the continuous development and at the same time has its practicality for the local commercial banks. This article consists of five sections. The first section reviews the deve - Iopment courses of CITIC Industrial Bank and Dalian Branch. It analyses the necessity and the feasibility of establishing Anshan CITIC, consi- dering the factors and features of the economic situation, geographic circumstances and financial market in Anshan, the background of setting- up of Anshan CITIC is also discussed. In second section, the historical chances and the external challenges for Anshan CITIC in the future are discussed. In section three, the competitive capacity of Anshan CITIC in the financial market is discussed , including advantages of Anshart CITIC抯 management experience, business scope and educational quality of its employees, and the disadvantages in its basic establishment, its popularity and the acceptance of new ideas of management .The fourth section illustr- ates the development strategy of Anshan CITIC in detail,definitely formu- lating the principles and the goal for Anshan CITIC development strategy. Six strategic measures should be carried out for reaching the goal. It draws out the line of Anshan CITLC development in the future from the point of long term, the whole, and the comprehensive. In the fifth section, ten gua- rantee measures are formulated . We believe that Anshan CITIC will deve- lop steadily under the guidance of correct development strategy.
