MeanWile the leading grouP makesactive theQretical explorations to resolve the Tawan issue. They hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory, adhere to the policy of "one country tWo systCms", take the new historical situations inio accowt to bring forward a series of policies, tactics so as to resolve the Taiwan issue earlier and establish the rewhfication of our motherland. Hence, they deepen and advance the theory of "one country two syStems" and contribute much to their basic thoughs about the Taiwan issue. Based on the theories of historical materialism and dialectical materialism and guided by Deng Xiaoping theory the dissertation makes objective analyses and explorations of the formation, colltCnts, theoretical contribution and gUiding importance of the basic thoughts about the Taiwan issue Which are shared by the third leading generation of our Party The thoughts not only enrich and develop the theory of "one country tWosystems", but also become the gUiding principles and theoretical weapons to grow the relation between the Mainland and Taiwan and promote the reunification of our motherland.
