Abstract/Summary:
Because of the development of our economy reform and deep effect that WTO will bring to us, our commercial banks ought to face opportunity and challenge in the future. Depending on the traditional business, the commercial banks cannot stand to the fierce competition today. They must adjust their competitive strategy in order to achieve advantage in the future competition. In this thesis, the author analyses the market environment that the commercial banks facing today, and confirm that the bank should focus on their target market and regard the middle business and personal banking business as their major business. Banks should carry on the brand-new marketing strategy, include brand strategy, promotion strategy and channel design strategy. In the same time, the bank must set up modern banking system inside in order to adapt to the strategic adjustment and ensure that the marketing strategy goes on.
