| The thesis does a systematic research on the issue of building in Shenzhen a logistical service center for the Pearl River Delta region. It first analyzes the current situation and the developing trend both in China and Western countries, pointing out the main existing problems of the logistical industry in China. Then it studies the economical environment of the Delta region as well as that of Shenzhen, especially the demand of transportation from the rapid development of regional economy. Under this background it researches on the situation of logistical industry of the region, based on which it presents the theme of building in Shenzhen a logistical service center for the region. And in accordance with the industry trend and the practical situation of the region, it concludes that it is suitable to build Shenzhen South China International Container Multiple Transportation Center (Shenzhen South China Center). Finally, it does a forecast for the optimal operation capacity of the Shenzhen South China Center. |
