| With the growth of foreign trade system and the high-speed step for our country to merge into the world economical system, for the specialized foreign trade companies, how to improve its corporate governance , increase its efficiency of management, and cultivate its key competition ability, are top priorities in order to win the future intensive competition. Based on this, many researches have been conducted in this paper to analyze the relations between the corporate governance of the listed foreign trade companies and their efficiency evaluation.In this paper, the background and research significance of this project are described in detail. Next, a systematic review is conducted to the theory of corporate governance, the principle and method of efficiency evaluation, and the existing research results of the relation between the corporate governance of listed companies and their efficiency evaluation. Furthermore, based on the samples of 23 listed foreign trade companies, which had on-stocked in ShenZhen and ShangHai by the end of 2000, some research assumptions are proposed and corresponding variables are defined. The relations between the corporate governance of listed foreign trade companies and their efficiency evaluation are studied by using SPSS software. Some results are obtained. These research results can be used to determine whether the corporate governance of listed foreign trade companies are effective or not. Finally, some suggestions are given to improve their corporate governance and increase their efficiency. |
