China's High-tech Industrial Development, Exports And Its Market Positioning

According to currently new trend of the development of world economy and trade, this thesis makes a systematic analysis on high-tech industry, exportation and market position of high-tech products in China. By combining theoretical and empirical analysis, the thesis first gives definitions about the high-tech products and industry, then makes a study on exogenous and endogenous variables of technology under perfect and imperfect competition. Using lots of data, the thesis analyzes the historical developing process of industry and exports construction in China, and the interdependence between them. What抯 more, it makes detailed descriptions about the international gap, and tries to find out where China抯 high-tech industry and exports fall short, compared with those of other countries, and then points out the importance of developing our high-tech industry and improving China抯 position in international division of labor. At last, after the analysis of the bankruptcy of Iridium Star Company in America, it explores the way to make right market position of high-tech products of China by using the theories of technological innovation and reciprocal demand under an internationalizing market.
