Presently seen from the practice of enterprise management, Chinese enterprises are facing a serious survival problem. On the one hand, along with the advancement of science and technology, with the accelerating process of one world large market, with the coming of excellent foreign enterprises, the domestic market is far more risky and competitive than it was. This require enterprises having more invigorative viability; On the other hand, in the process of the transition of the highly centralized national planning economy to the competitive market economy, enterprise are thrown into the survival-of-the-finest risky market, to which the old values, customs and management models are not so well accustomed. Not being ware of the risk dimension of market economy, not understanding the dilemma rules of enterprise, and so on, are likely leading the enterprise to the dilemma of management, even worse to close down or bankruptcy. There may be many factors leading enterprise into management dilemma, but main reason for enterprise adversity is that our enterprises lack an institution to make enterprise adapt the change of environment and the function of self-organization. Therefore, it is impending to build the early-warning management system of enterprise for supervising, diagnosing, controlling, correcting the adversity. This method may strengthen the immunity of enterprise. In order to reveal the rules of enterprise adversity and build the safety mechanism of enterprise, this dissertation analyzes and generalizes all kinds of undesirable behaviors of enterprise. This paper focuses on building an index system of evaluation of enterprise adversity. In the end, the paper takes fiberglass factory as an demonstration analysis.
