Mudanjiang Sustainable And Efficient Agricultural Development Model

Sustainable agriculture is considered an important forward problem in the agriculture field over the current world. The Development Agenda of China in 21st century, approved by our government in 1994, is a programmatic document for the sustainable development of agriculture in 21St century. Many synthetical researches on it have been launched in different parts of the country during the 8th Five-Year Plan by the Department of Technology. Mudanjiang is one of the seven efficient sustainable areas marked A. Its goal is to set an example for the development of modern agriculture in North-East area in 21St century; to bring about a series of creations in many aspects, such as technique, industrial, sense, system, etc; in a word, to make contribution for the sustainable development and to form a perfect system of efficient sustainable agriculture. Based on the international background put forward in the sustainable agriculture, according to the goals, principles, strategies, models of sustainable agriculture of our country, this paper assesses the models of Mudanjiang efficient sustainable agriculture demonstrating area, and made the following conclusion: 1. The development in the demonstrating area is confirmed quite right. Sustentation is its prerequisite, while development is its main line. It goes along a way of modern intensive agriculture characterized by modernization, intensive, benefit and sustentation. Thus, this demonstrating area set an example to the development of modern agriculture for the North-East area, even for the whole country. 2.The demonstrating area accords with the region- development strategy of sustainable agriculture. Based on the current situation, the researchers makes some new creations in this paper: I New technology: Stress the technological creation. In order to realize the goalustentation and efficient, specific and technological researches were carried out. Meanwhile, they paid more attention to the application and dissemination; thus, provided new technology for the sustainable development of agriculture in North-East type areas. II New model: Accelerate the speed of structural and managing creation. Guided by the market, they emphasized the structure adjustment and modern management, strengthened the spreading function; thus provided a new model for the improvement of agricultural structure and the crossing-century development plan. III New train of thought: Implement the organizational creation plan. Considering the personal type as the main body, they cultivated many kinds of economic cooperative organization in countryside, and dissolved the conflict between parents?scattering management type and large- scale marketplace; thus provided a new train of thought for the development of marketing agriculture in North- East type areas. IV New route: Persist in the creation about the surrounding environment. Directed by sustainable development, they speeded up the construction of basic equipment, paid more attention to the administration of ecological environment; thus provided a new route for the sustained development of agriculture in the North-East type areas. 3.
