AnGang Industry Silicon-Steel SheetPlant is a small-sized enterprise that mainly produces hot-rolling silion- steel sheet. This kind of sheet has been repaced by cold-rolling silion-steel sheet' since late I960' s in some developed countries. Although 600,000 tons of the sheet are put into the domstic market eachyear,the replacing course goes more and more quickly as the product capacity ofcold-rolling silion-steel sheet increasing andrequest of the sheet reducing. Acording to the state economic policy,the hot- rolling process will be eventually died out by 2005. In this case,it is urgent for the pant to make the future developing plan. The brief introductionabout sillion-steel sheet and predict of future of it in our country has been made in this paper by comparing and analyzing for cold-rolling andhot-rolling sheet. On the base of the circumstances around plant,the innerproblems and external competing aspects wereinvestigated deeply. The strategy that is tightening the plant scale to suit themarket is proposed.
