Drunk driving harms social public security seriously. Every country take a zero-tolerance attitude to it and expressly prohibits it, but the phenomenon of drunk driving is still long-standing.The problem of drunk driving in our country is more prominent. It has nearly been 5 years since an amended Criminal Law imposed harsher punishments on drunken drivers,but traffic accidents because of drunk driving take place frequently. It becomes an cancer to affect social public security of our country. This article through the subject of drunk driving,the psychological analysis of the failure in the prohibition of drunken driving phenomenon and deep level reasons, and explore the practice through the treat ments of the drunk driving group, looking for the ways and methods to stop drunk driving behavior, thus to criminal legislation and the comprehensive cont rol of drunk driving problems to provide reference and basis.Part 1 summarizes drunk driving, including its concept and features, severe harm,and all countries’ treatment measures in which some related law regulatio ns of our country are especially introduced.Part 2 is psychological analysis for drunken drivers from both static and dynamic factors. Generally speaking, static factors cover population characteristics, conditions of drinking, personality situation, mental disorders. Dynamic factors cover psychological forming and decision-making process, and strategic orientation, in order to find out the reasons of drunk driving.Part 3 states practice study of correction and treatment for drunk-drinking criminals, in which practice content and effect is regarded as importance. And certainly the author gives corresponding suggestions for some problems in the process of correctional treatment.
