A Study On Citizen Participation In Public Affairs Management In China

Public administration is the management of public affairs in social activitie s, it is the inevitable result of historical development. In general, the public ad ministration is to protect the public interest as the core target of a managemen t system, which includes three aspects of management theory and methods, eco nomic, political and legal. Public administration is not contrary to law under th e premise of the implementation can be social public affairs, effective manage ment, and also in certain activities, to provide some necessities and services. In the government,the paper expound several aspects. First, improving the people’s representatives of r elevant system. Second, strengthening the constitutional guarantee of civic parti cipation. Third, improving the decision-making hearing system. Fourth, vigorous ly promoting openness in government affairs, enhancing the transparency of go vernment information. Fifth, promoting the development of social organizations,to guarantee civic right to participate. Sixth, through the Internet and other w ays to promote citizen participation in space. Seventh, correct positioning of th e role of government officials, changing the misunderstanding. Eighth, providin g adequate legal remedies for citizens participation power. This will be positive to improve the government’s affairs management level. It also can enhance th e enthusiasm of citizens to participate in public affairs management, improve th e awareness of civic responsibility and promote social fairness and justice, civil ization and progress.
