Corruption is a major problem that any party cannot avoid. As an important content of the party’s construction, the anti-corruption has great significant for the Party’s long-term ruling. At present, due to the deepening reform and the various conflicts of interest, corruption is becoming more and more serious. Strengthening the party’s own construction is particularly important in the fight of anti-corruption. Therefore the 18th CPC National Congress report putted "purity" as the main line of the party’s construction for the first time. And it clearly pointed out that we should fight against the corruption firmly and maintain the true qualities of the communists’honesty and uprightness. Subsequently, the Party Central Committee carried out the special anti-corruption struggle and achieved a great victory. This also won the hearts of people. The study of anti-corruption also becomes an academic research hotspot.Combating corruption runs through every historical stage of the Communist Party of China. There into, as an important part of the Communist Party of China’s anti-corruption, the struggle of anti-corruption in the early days with new China played an important role in the history of the party’s anti-corruption. The period (1949-1956) is an important time of the Communist Party of China’s first regime. In the new period with many changes, how to do a good job of anti-corruption has been a major task which can keep the party pure and consolidate the new regime. The anti-corruption of the early days with new China had its special historical background-the historical position and objective environment of the communist party of China, the new changes of the party and the expectations of the degree of integrity from all society made the anti-corruption of this period became particularly urgent. Meanwhile, various rules and regulations of the early days with new China also tested the anti-corruption. Therefore, by drawing lessons from the demise of the old regime and combining with the Marxism classical writers’ study of anti-corruption, the Chinese Communists put forward many thoughts of anti-corruption which accorded with the new China’s reality. And these thoughts also had provided theoretical support for the anti-corruption practice of the early days with the new China. The campaign that raises production and practices economy opened the prologue of new China’s anti-corruption. From the "three evils" to the new "three evils", the anti-corruption campaigns of the early days with new China developed vigorously which combated against the corrupt, purified the party and refreshed the new China. Also, through punishing corruption severely and doing solid work, the anti-corruption campaigns of the early days with new China have achieved the expected results and some of the valuable experience has reference value to modern times. Nonetheless, the anti-corruption struggle of this period also had its own deficiency due to the historical limitations. Therefore, having a complete grasp of the practice-based process of anti-corruption and deepening the understanding of the theory of anti-corruption has positive influence on pushing anti-corruption practice and fighting against corruption. On this basis, by using historical experiences for reference, this article summarizes the experience and the insufficiency of the anti-corruption of the early days with new China to explore new way of anti-corruption in new era.
