In judicial practice of America,application of trial by jury earlier than the history of the USA, at the start, The jury system is a part of national system. The jury trial plays crucial role in the American judicial trial, the core part of the judicial credibility is the justice on public credit and public trust in the judiciary, in this kind of interaction between the two sides, as public representatives, jury plays a key role in the process of establishing American judicial credibility.America jury system in inherited the British system and it has changed in order to require America conditions: From the beginning of nineteenth Century 20 years, legal occupation community began to ask the jury and the judge divisive responsibilities; And nullification at that time has been questioned although it was supported in the early time; With the Fourteenth Amendment to the constitution was enacted, America paid attention to equality increasingly, “special group” can’t be discriminated in the process of selection members of jury, Judicial credibility be enhanced with the jury selection mode optimized; In twentieth Century sixty or seventy years of the members of jury has changed, At the same time,with the economic development people also need efficiency it make the verdict of the jury unanimity principle America changed. The development of jury changes in 19—20 Century has a great influence on this period of America judicial credibility: the jury system to project judicial justice and promote the judicial procedure, it also promote positive interaction between law and society.
