Marx's theory of world history is important constituent of historical materialism of Marx's, mainly concentrated in the early works of Marx and Engels, German Ideology, the communist manifesto, das capital and the later anthropology notes, notes and so on. It is not only the basis of methodology that Marx explores and analyzes the human society, constructing the methodology of historical materialism, but also the theory of doctrine which he analyzes, criticizes capitalist society, constructing the socialism and communism. Marx's theory of world history reveals that human beings have entered the more expanded history range which constituting various activities influencing each other, warning people that any nationality and state can't escape from this interrelationship but to make historical development of isolatly individual nationality. In contemporary the Chinese Communists which represented by Deng Xiaoping, inherited from Marx and Lenin about that the underdeveloped countries constructing socialist will draw all positive achievements from capitalism, and profoundly summarizes the domestic and international socialist practice, and puts forward the historical experience of opening policy. He systematically expounded that China carried out open reform under the socialist condition including objective necessity of opening, open content, principles and the basic pattern of opening, and form a set of suitable for China's actual foreign opening theory system, further enriched and developed the Marxism. Deng Xiaoping's opening thoughts are the combination of the Marxist theory of world history and contemporary Chinese reality and the features of The Times, which embodies the contemporary significance of Marxist theory.
