In the DPP's "ruling" of eight years, Lee Teng-hui Chen Shui-bian inherited the mantle of constantly advocating "Taiwan independence" and split, each year to the United Nations General Assembly "in the case of the United Nations" and other intergovernmental international organizations involved in the request, even in 2008 on whether the issue of a referendum to join the UN "referendum." But the "one China principle" in the international community has agreed that Chen Shui-bian government" of the above activities ended in failure.2008 "opposition" 8 years of the KMT back "power", Ma Ying-jeou authorities acknowledge the "ninety-two consensus", the implementation of more open and pragmatic cross-strait policy, thus promoting cross-strait trade and economic, cultural and personnel exchanges. On the basis of cross-strait interactions not only led to "three links" can be realized, and in 2009 and 2010 for two years as an observer Shouyao Taiwan will attend the World Health Assembly (WHA), Taiwan Kuomintang authorities in this year There is also not to the United Nations General Assembly "in the case of the United Nations."By comparison and analysis, this paper argues that only "one China principle", the two sides deal with Taiwan to join international organizations, governmental problems can be solved. Of course, we must guard against the Kuomintang authorities will be "flexible diplomacy" for future participation in the focus of various international specialized agencies. Only through further cross-strait exchanges, the two sides to the early establishment of mutual political trust, political negotiations, a peace agreement, this is Taiwan's participation in international organizations to solve the root of the problem.
