The"Ritual&Music"is a basic issue of Chinese music aesthetics. Since the 20th century, especially after the New Culture Movement, a comprehensive anti-traditional cultural development has formed into a character, this kind of "anti-traditional trend" has become a new trend.From this time onwards, our traditional society comprehensively disintegrated in all areas from political policy to cultural education. The new academic structures all intend to imitate Division of Western educational methods. Against such background, our music aesthetics has become a subject marching through all the hardships.The author titles as"Sorting and researching the concept of Ritual&Music of the 20th century", for the purpose of"tracking the questions", intending to find out the tracks and rules of the evolution of traditional"Ritual&Music ideology"The author, after an extensive literature search and analysis, has overthrowed the idea of discussing the relations between Ritual and Music in the original "Ritual&Music ideology", but instead he has conducted a typical research and analysis of several representatives of the"Ritual&Music ideology".With this perspective, the author has used a research strategy of concentration, among the three factions of Chinese cultural development during the 20th century, he has selected three figures-Fuguan Xu, Zhongde Cai, Hui Wang with their "Ritual&Music ideology", as his researching objects. Attempting to analyze the content and system of their discussion of "Ritual&Music ideology", based their knowledge background, argument standpoint and presenting system, then set up a view of the extension and developing of "Ritual&Music ideology" during the 20th century.With such researching angle of view and method, the author has summarized three typical viewpoints as-"Ritual&Music Home-anxiety Theory"of Fuguan Xu,"Ritual&Music Man-oriented Theory"of Zhongde Cai, and"Ritual&Music Community Theory"of Hui Wang.These three representatives, not only from their cultural identity, but also from their source of ideology, are strongly related to the factions of Cultual conservatives, Freedom westernized, Chinese Maxism Materialistic Conception of History, which have been there since the 20th century.These ideas continue to blend and collide in the 20th century, and reflected on the "Ritual&Music ideology" as is concerned, the three have formed their unique "Ritual&Music"idea presentation. In the basic attitude to"Ritual&Music", it's showing a development track as"Pro-Con-Combine".In terms of its deep meaning, the essence is that the thinking about which"Teleology"the"Ritual&Music"refers to has been at work. Therefore, the author introduced"Internal teleology"and"External teleology"mentioned in Hegel's《Little Logic》as a basic analytic approach to the research of this topic, to help the author to identify the fact and track the notions of the " 20th century Ritual&Music ideology "...
