"ink Tide" Analysis

The broaden use of ink-and-wash elements in Chinese graphic design that emerged in numerous works reflected oriental feature as well as national spirit during the last decade show the progress of graphic design . It is regrettable that , however, the attitude of many works to those elements only take"ink-and-wash"as symbols and not consider if it is helpful to the content.What is worse more, some works confuse the concept of oriental and china , which set out oriental feature with Chinese characteristic disorderly . All of those phenomenon deeply impair the quality of Chinese graphic design. This essay starts from analyzing Chinese graphic works ,exploits subtle differences of cultural stamp , shows personal view and tries to re-understand the use of ink-and-wash elements in a new angle as weel as higher altitude.
