Original singing is folk songs of authentic music form that Chinese people of all nationalities create in the production practice,Widely circulate in folk. It is the biggest characteristic is authentic and most singers are not trained, basically use true voice singing. Original singing and the original folk song is interdependent. With the development of modern social economy and changes of production and lifestyle, the original folk song gradually lost its survival soil, and is facing declining position. Now, more and more music personage and media pay attention to original folk song and participate in the action to save the original folk song. It is the most powerful support to original singing that put original singing into the national youth singer competition. Music channel of CCTV launched programs about original folk songs of the ethnic minority areas, making broad audience appreciate the original folk song's unique charm.
