It will try to analyze this problem on the basis of facts to make the process of contention more clearly during this study. It also want to deepen the understanding of the political structure of Sui Dynasty and make characteristics of Sui Dynasty clearly. In the first chapter, This essay analyze the background of nation and politics of Yang Jian's Family, and point out that it influenced Wen Di deeply, who elevated the crown prince and allotted the locality to the other princes. This policy directly resulted in the contention of crown prince during Kai-Huang period. In the second chapter, This essay analyze Wen Di and Du Gu Hou's idea of noble marriage and acceding, which emerged in Guan Long Bloc. Because Yang Yong was against this idea, he lost Wen Di's trust. But Yang Guang got his parents'favor by marriage. His political status began to rise.In the third chapter, it is known that Yang Guang began to expand his power under Wen Di's cosseting after Kai-Huang Nine Years (589 B.C). He successfully associated with Yang Su, who was the new powerful minister in the court. This essay point out that the contention of crown prince began to contact with the adjustment of the political structure in the central authorities. In the forth chapter, it is known that Yang Yong combine with Gao Jiong to keep his position, who was also in the political crisis. But at that time Wen Di had decided to dethrone Yang Yang because of the circumvention of Yang Guang and Yang Su. Yang Yong and Gao Jiong were ousted from the political affairs by groundless imputation and the contention of crown prince was over. This contention was a part of the political structure adjustment in the central authority. It caused the political struggle of Guan Long Bloc badly. Yang Guang won the contention and actualized many policies during Da Ye Period (605B.C-618B.C), strengthen imperial power and nation unity and among others. These policies deeply hurt the advantage of Guan Long Bloc and lost its advocacy. Sui Dynasty died out rapidly. It is very important to research the contention of crown prince during Kai Huang Period (581B.C-600B.C). It was not only the footstone for Yang Guang to get the imperial throne, but also the starting point of collapse between Yang Guang and Guan Long Bloc. The significance was very outstanding in the last period of Sui Dynasty. This monograph has three innovation points as follows: First, This essay analyze the change of favor between Yang Yong and Yang Guang. It pay more attention to the ancestry marriage which people look up on men but down on women at that time. Wen Di and Du Gu Hou were deeply influenced. Because Yang Yong's marriage did not accord with this standard, so he lost his parent's favor rapidly. On the contrary, Yang Guang's marriage was arranged by his parents, he purchased the favor and his political status began to rise.Second, This essay research the agencies of crown prince and point out officials mainly came from Guan Long Bloc. Yang Yong was suppressed by Wen Di during the contention, but he was also sustained by many officeholders until the last time. It also point out that Yang Yong had powerful influence from the beginning to end, though he failed finally.Third, there is a new view on the condition of Yang Su and Gao Jiong in the contention. As the leading figure of Guan Long Bloc, Yang Su had much political energy, so Yang Guang tried his best to associate with him. Yang Su also wanted to strengthen his position in the political affairs through this contention, so they quickly became partners and got the success. Gao Jiong was a meritorious statesman to Sui Dynasty, but he did not have extraction as Yang Su. After "si gui" politics was over, he tried to ally with Yang Yong to keep his shaken status. Because Wen Di disliked and rejected him, this combination accelerated the end of his political fate. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Sui Wen-di, Yang Yong, Yang Guang, the contention of crown prince | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
