| "Chinese sports movie" refers to the physical education film from 1949 until 2008 of Chinese mainland in this thesis. Sports movie can be classified into physical record movie and sports story movie according to the filming technique and this paper focuses on the sports story film, sports records movie involving rarely.Introductive mainly reviewes the time of modern sports are introduced into China. Along with sports as a kind of cultural forms are emerging.Tt is introduced physical education and its function and nature, then analysis the possibillity of combining between sports and movies. That leads to the definition of sports film.In this chapter also dissects the sports images'spread and significance to highlight the appear and existence of sports film.The following chapter narrates the sports film creation since the founding of new China and analyzes their change and cause from theme and shape.This chapter analysis films though their creation context and significance about Seventeen Years and new period. Especially with the change of market and culture, the article analyzes emphatically performance of the new period films.The article also analysis of new sports movie text and creation value of each period according to the culture and put sports film into all aspects of cultural analysis. This chapter divides two sections to analyse the Chinese sports film cultural connotation by express object and forms.In form of sports film will be on comedy sports movies and theme sports, sports records as the sample film to explore the phenomenon of Chinese sports movie in developing. mainly from the context of globalization, by the comparative analysis between Chinese sports movie"taekwondo"and Hollywood sports movie "million dollar baby", this chapter emphasizes Chinaese sports movie's absence in the global images and the neglect of physical education source in Chinese sports movies.It is a feasible breakout for development of Chinaese sports movie in the future.Finally,staring from the culture contained in sports itself and its unique spirit and combining with the creating contexts of the Chinese sports films and the social culture they conveyed in different times since 1949, this article saw through those Chinese sports films since 1949 and therefore discussed different kinds of possibilities of the development of Chinese sports films. Further more, it provided some kinds of examples for the development of Chinese sports films and pointed out the way of the development of Chinese sports films in the future time, that is, only combining Chinese traditional culture with world culture together and making good use of the ongoing film technology can we make Chinese sports films and even Chinese films reach out to the world... |
