The research of Dongxiang language which is a member of Mongolic group, has received a great deal of attention of scholars at home and abroad and gained fruitful achievements. Based on the previous research, the author has made an on-the-spot investigation of Dongxiang language in Xingjiang and obtained the firsthand material which the research work needs.This paper focuses on the voice of a verb in Dongxiang, analyzing its classifications, meanings, origins, and categories it concerns. Its voice can be divided into three types, active, passive, and reciprocal& cooperative one. Furthermore, four new suffixes of the voice, namely,-(?) (?),-du,-da,-tsa have been proposed for the first time in this paper.This paper also carries on an analysis of the origins of voice suffixes in Dongxiang starting with relative relations and the historical evolution of Dongxiang and Mongolian. As far as its meaning concerned, it was never analyzed systematically before, in this paper, not only definitions of various voices are given, but also detailed classifications are made in terms of the meaning, which also reflects the usage of Dongxiang in Xinjiang.
