As an important part of the study about Japanese grammar, the research onparticle has been paid close attention by a lot of Japanese learners. As one of theparticles which are frequently used in Japanese,「に」is used widely. So, the studyabout it has become difficult and important. There have been lot of study aboutparticle「に」which are researched from the usages, features, functions in thestructure of sentences, In addition, the study of the comparison between「に」and「から」,「で」,「へ」,「と」are also numerous.In the usages of particle「に」and「から」,there seems to be that both of themcan indicate the starting point . In this thesis, as the basic usages of particle「に」and「から」being a starting point, comparison about the features of「~にもらう」and「~からもらう」will be more clear.The framework of this thesis is shown as follows:The first part : Introduction of the former studies about the particle「に」and「から」and the purpose of this thesis.The second part: From the perspective of pragmatics ,classified the cases of「~にもらう」and「~からもらう」,then analyzed these cases . More specifically,whether the recipients show the initiative, whether the giving side is human or not,whether the receiving material is beneficial or unhelpful, the cases were classifiedfrom these three aspects. So that in the sentences of「もらう」,the differences of theusages of「に」and「から」and the environment that they exist in respectively becameclear.The second part: Through the comparison about the features of「~にもらう」and「~からもらう」, so that it makes it clear that in the sentences「~にもらう」,as the particle ,the use of「に」included some characteristics meanings such as therecipients'awareness of thanks for the favor from the giving side and considerationsabout the relationship of human beings.
