Japanese Causative Expression Of The Agent - Patient Relationship

The causative usage is the universal phenomena in language, and it is one of the necessary approaches in languistically communicative function. The causative usage in Japanese has various expressive ways and is of great importance in the daily social communication. The Japanese causative usage has its own unique feature. It is divided into two kinds in form:one is vocabulary causative expression, the other is syntactic causative expression. This dissertation concludes the result of researches of forerunners, and it starts with the relationship of causing and the caused in Japanese various causative expressions, analyses the causative expression caused by transitive verbs, intermediate transitive verbs and the causative forms. It also expounds the causative expression of「てもらぅ」and the relationship of causing and the caused of causative expression in「よぅに」.This dissertation testifies the uniqueness of Japanese causative expression and clarifies the difference of causing and the caused, and therefore it further explains the difference between Japanese various expressive ways.
