This research used experimental paradigm of Gilovich,which was called "drinking recognition" to research the illusion of transparency of the different self-monitoring in the means of emotion priming. The purpose of this study is to explor the impact about emotion and self-monitoring on the illusion of transparency.This research is mainly to fresh men,sophomores and junior in university,The test tool is Self-monitoring Scale, in the means of emotion priming to induce the corresponding emotional of subjects,After acquiring positive emotions, negative emotions and natural emotion,used SPSS software to analyze, The result of the study indicates:1.Self-monitoring is a relative stable personality trait which quantity was nomal distribution. People who have different self-monitoring condition equal people who have bad self-monitoring conditon generaly.Most people have medium self-monitoring condition.2.People who have different self-monitoring conditions can have a tight relationship with emotional experience.People who have good self-monitoring condition can easily adjust the envionment;but people who have bad self-monitoring conditon have a relative stable emotion.3.Regardless of what kind of mood,People who have different self-monitoring conditions have the feeling of the illusion of transparency. negative emotions can strengthen the illusion of transparency.but in the case of negative emotions and natural emotion the illusion of transparency can be weakened.4.Heterosexual is stronger than homosexual in the illusion of transparency. Regardless of what kind of mood, Heterosexual is stronger than homosexual,The difference is largely.Researched into the illusion of transparency, Individual performance the sex facilitation effects.
