History Of Discipline Classified By Field Inspection

The introduction of western learning to east in China's modern history brought the 'categories of subjects'into the circle of Chinese academic. Pioneers of historiography led by Liang Qichao keeping pace with the times categorized the traditional historiography into general history and special history. Special history is carried forward by scholars in various disciplines, while historians who decide the development of the historical narrative, are responsible for the compilation of general history, As the development of the classification and integration in the disciplines, the subject frontiers are broken down by numerous kinds of interdisciplinaries. Accordingly, different branches of history have expanded spectacularly under the name of interdisciplinary. That some branches even lose the characteristics of history result in the de-historization trend.Based on a review of some historians' structural system of history and an investigation of the subject classification and code, this theise seeks to demonstrate the close relationship between the frontier of history and other disciplinaries, what is more,it attempts to show that there is a conflict of the power of discourse between the influential historians and the official—standardsetters.
