Significance Of The "v /" "up / Down" And The Related Acquisition Of Visits

In this thesis we used many methods, such as language material analysis and some scientific statistical methods to research and analyze the different usages, the grammatical orders, and the acquisition orders of the Chinese particle "SHANG/XIA"("上／下")in the structure of "Verb SHANG/XIA" ("V上／下"), with the hope that we can find some rules on their acquisitions, and discover some explanations for those phenomenons that we found benefit our Chinese teaching to foreigners.This work can be divided into 7 chapters.The first chapter is the preface. In this chapter, we provided some basic information about the thesis, including the researching purpose, the methods used, and the value in doing it.In Chapter 2, we reviewed some relative research about Chinese particle "SHANG/XIA" ("上／下")in the structure of "Verb SHANG/XIA" ("V上／下").In Chapter 3 and 4, we analysed and concluded the main meanings, usages and grammatically orders of "SHANG/XIA" ("上／下") in the structure of "Verb SHANG/XIA" ("V上／下"), and came up with assumptions about their acquisition orders.In Chapter 5, we analyzed all of the mistakes and errors that we found in language materials which came from student essays about "SHANG/XIA" ("上／下") in the structure of "Verb SHANG/XIA" ("V上／下"), and tried to explain the reasons they made those mistakes. Finally we checked our assumptions about the acquisition orders.In Chapter 6, we discussed the instruction orders in some textbooks about "SHANG/XIA"("上／下")in the structure of "Verb SHANG/XIA" ("V上／下"), and tried to give some useful adivices to the teaching practice.Chapter 7 provided a brief summary of the thesis and asked some questions that should both catch your attention and continue to be researched concerning teaching "SHANG/XIA"("上／下")in the structure of "Verb SHANG/XIA" ("V上／下").
