Basic on the characteristics of cities, the narration of Flanuer by Benjamin and the conception of tourism gaze by John Urry, the research would continue the research of the history of street photography, especially the images of China from early days until now taking by photographers from other places. According to the issues above, the research would focus on the two photographers Daido Moriyama and Zhang Cai, to discover their observations and visualizations of Shanghai. Also, as both photographers and flanuers, the way two photographers bring the skills of street photography into full play, and present the characteristics of diversities and mixed elements of the city of Shanghai would also be an important point of view in the research.In addition, to understand how photographers from other places practice and reflect their visualization of the city before coming to the city, the topics, style and technique of their works and the similarities and dissimilarities between Lu Yuanmin's work would also be examined in the articles.
