Modern Chinese Indicate The Relationship Between Language And Context

Deixis is used for instruction of language units.It is one of the basic category of linguistics.It originated from the Greek.It means the "guide" or "marked".Now,as one of the important contents of pragmatics,deixis mean the words those indicat the word and context of the relationship between the structure.Levinson thought that if we want to determine the significance of language instruction,we must rely on the context.The phenomenon of deixis is the relationship between language and context reflects obviously and directly.The understanding of Chinese language instruction can not be depart from the context,the specific context restricts the understanding of Chinese language instruction.The traditional static view of the context think that context was an objective existence,the specification and restricts of the context restrict the language communication.Actually otherwise,the dynamic contextual view thought that nonverbal communication process is actually the build process of context.The meaning of language instruction is on the context,deixis also have building function to context.Dynamic contextual view think the context is not only an objective existence,so people can talk with "self basis,according to the need for communication,in the process of conversation with obedient,select the proper deixis,or to achieve communication or to build proper context,to show their position,attitude,etc.Speaker,information and the relationship,attitude between factors will affect the speaker to choose the deixis.The speaker choose the far or near deixis is build on the foundation of the psychological experience. The speaker using deixis itself contains psychological foundation consciously or unconsciously,to reduce or keep the mental distance between themselves and obedient or referred,or the feelings distance,friendly,close,rusty or cold feeling.The speaker's choice of deixis reflects the deep psychological activities and psychological state of the speaker.So,the deixis is deduced by the context,the information provided language instructions from the context,leave the specific context and information,the information of discourse cannot be expressed.Meanwhile,the context is build by the deixis,the speaker will choose different deixis according to the need for communication,to construct the context to achieve the goals of communication.The relationship of the deixis of modern Chinese language and context is supplement and inseparable,because of this,the students who learn the deixis of modern Chinese language must use up context,the analysis of errors must according to context,too.Therefore,the study of modern Chinese language instruction and the context is good for the error analysis of Chinese deixis and the study of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
