The Shaanxi Colleges Counseling Agencies And Their Health And Research

This is a high-speed development and competitive era. Only by possessing well-knit basic skills, rich scientific and cultural knowledge, good psychological adjustment ability and excellent personality character can people well adapt to the high efficiency production and fast-paced life. College students, as the group of people with high social and culture level, always hold the hope to win the development opportunity in the future. But in the interaction of various pressure such as study, employment, economy emotion and so on, they are prone to feeling of perplexity and confusion and generating stress and setback, thus become groups with high incidence of psychological problems. Psychological counseling agencies which founded in the campus carry out the function of providing scientific psychology guidance for college students. This is not only the objective demand of colleges to carry out quality education but also the intrinsic need of college students'physical and mental health harmonious development. All in all, it plays an important role in promoting social progress and development.This study carries out investigation and study on psychological counseling agencies in Shaanxi undergraduate colleges and its running status based on the predecessors'research findings. Firstly, through actual investigation and analysis on psychological counseling agencies'construction, staff, function and so on in Shaanxi undergraduate colleges, this paper presents the running status of psychological counseling agencies in Shaanxi undergraduate colleges, so as to know that counseling agencies has achieved great effect on aspects of organization system, staff situation, operation condition, work effects and so on. But simultaneously, there are some problems, such as:they overall start late, are different in names and belongs to various institutions; they have the problem of teacher shortage with less full-time teachers and more part-time teachers; they are lack of standard rules and regulations; students'assessment on them is not high and so on. Secondly, based on problems of the counseling agencies in Shaanxi undergraduate colleges, this paper explores the factors that restrict its development, mainly include:university leaders, teachers and students do not absolutely understand the work of mental health education; the lack of standardized organizational institutions; the quantity and quality of staff are difficult to satisfy the college students'need for health education; there exists great space for its further development. Lastly, based on the previous inquiry and analysis, this research brings forward the following four suggestions to improve and strengthen Shaanxi college counseling agencies'standardized operation:to increase attention extent and eliminate recognizing bias; to perfect organization system and consummate organization function; to intensify staff construction and strengthen operation power; to add counseling content and expand counseling channels.
