Book Design, Dynamic Design

We love reading and we all need it. A good book is a special wealth to everyone. At the same time, we need design and we learn to design our life. With the development of our society, everything is changing. So it does the book design. We are not satisfying with the former style of books: a picture, the book name and just put them together. A beautiful cover and practical content are not enough to us now. Good designed books will help us to know what we can do after reading them.Now we need to know about the book design and realize them.The dynamic book design is not completely a new concept. Many designers have such a rough idea and have done a lot of endeavor on it. Through this, we can find a new way to read which is totally different from the former ones. We are not only readers but also participants. It is really a transform to the traditional book design and book market from the new one. I am very interested in the idea of"the dynamic book design"and make some researches on it.We study the history and learn a lot of from it. Many great designers devoted their creativity to the book design as well as impressed me a lot. At the beginning of my thesis, I listed the history of the books and the book design roughly. After compared with the two design ways, I found five main factors which are different from the new one and former one. They are word, graphic, color, material and time. The"time"means that we should break the"quiet"design method and try the dynamic one. I also list something that we should do during the dynamic book design.What we do today is not just for the buyers. This new design way server the authors, the editors, the designers and the readers. We know what they need and then offer them all they want. That is the designers should do. Finish reading the books, the readers can go on rediscovering something new below the content. That is really a great change. So we need the dynamic book design.
