From the past to the present, in chinese society, history and culture, the peasants have been occupying the main position, playing a leading influence. "Peasants" who are the images with local culture, have a rich, broad range of aesthetic connotation in the space of human spirit both in literary history and the history of literary criticism.Reflectting on the chinese literature of past century, literature on the subject of peasants was very prosperous.In particular, since the new era, when the policy of culture had been relaxed, the literary and artistec about peasants were more prosperous than before.Although the true peasants are different from the peasants images that are described by contemporary writers, growth or decline, profit or loss, abundance or thin, in the real life and spiritual world this images contain the value of the rich aesthetic and cultural character .The sudy about the peasants images must be an methed for many author to analize the works and to explore a kind of literary and artistic ideas. In this paper ,I will analyze the peasants images in moyan's novels to study the aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotations of chinese peasants.First of all, based on the peasants images in different periods of time described by moyan I will divide this paper into three parts :1.the heroic peasants images during the war, including the images of chivalrous bandits and the images of rural women who living in the war time.2.the peasants images who living in the seventeen years of agricultural cooperatives period 3.the peasants images who living after the reform and opening-up In Chapter I I will explore the impact on moyan from the local culture and traditions and the formation of his farmers concept.
