Three decades of reform and opening up, with the rapid development of Chinese society, Current Chinese produces a large number of neology. Neologism research has become an important subject in language study, and achieved fruitful results, linguistics workers paid widespread attention to it. This article first discusses the general principles of neologism to define "newness" and "convention", as well as under the guidance of general principles, such as the necessity, clarity, and efficiency etc.. Subsequently, the paper pointed out: Because of the narrow vision of science, the dynamics of the weak flow-related corpus-based quantitative analysis, resulting in neologism closely related to the study of "frequency", "distribution", "flow", "norms" of such issues can hardly be solved in a reasonable manner, to some extent, neologism research becomes making a decision by virtue of part of the corpus, following the sense of the "plight of the language sense". To this question, papers stressed that the study must be changed to emphasize the loss of the traditional factors of modern science and introspection of a simple enumeration method for the measurement of the contemporary language of the extrusion method of statistical analysis of the status quo, to strengthen the capacity of the dynamic flow of corpus building, to promote the neologism of the research into scientification and modernization. On this basis, the paper discusses the standardization issues of using neologism, stressed the importance of dynamic, normative concept of tolerance, as well as in the neologism dictionary compilation, in the face of collecting neology, grasping the operational-level norms of such important issues.
