This thesis aims to explore the narrative strategies of Stefan Zweig's fiction based on careful analysis. The paper follows into three chapters. the introduction introduces Stefan Zweig and his life, summarizes the research progress of his fiction and points out the value of the studies.Chapter one explains the significance and development of narrative perspective theory and is divided into two parts, focusing on the interpretation of the concept and its evolution respectively. Chapter two and chapter three constitute the main body of this paper. Chapter two analyzes the characteristics of the narrative perspective in his fiction and interprets them from different aspects, namely, limited point of view, variation on point of view, special application of point of view, sound narrative and narrative perspective. Chapter three mainly studies the function and effects of Zweig's use of narrative perspective with the focus on its contribution to psychological realism, narrative blank and its effect, emotion models, sympathy creation and counteraction.
