At present, humanity development is striding toward post-modern, Chinese society in transition is moving towards diversity and openness from a statement of being enclosed, most people are accustomed to be controlled have been thrown suddenly into the conflicts of different values, they lost.With the highly advanced technologies and environmental deterioration, survival has become a prominent worldwide problem of the present era. Individual survival is confronted with a severe challenge, and mires in difficulties which can not be overcame in the short-term.This dissertation concerns the current most discussed individual survival, and studies underlying forces, premise, characteristics and purpose of Marx's individual survival concept from the particular standpoint of ethics. The dissertation focuses on the analysis of Marx's individual survival concept in order to point out the problem of survival and how to survive when individual faces survival difficulties, and expand the thoughts and ways of individual reflection survival.On this basis, it elaborates Marx's individual survival concept is far better than those of their predecessors', this conception gives inspiration for modern research and guidance significance for contemporary ethical research: from two dimensions of realistic and theory, firstly, it makes a concrete analysis of the four aspects including the value conflict of market economy, the value overload of science and technology, the value rebuild of multi-culture and the value demand of global environment. Then, integrating the actual needs of theories, that is the scientific concept of development and the harmonious socialist society, ways to anchor of our life and spirit for individual facing survival difficulties are found.
