A wide variety of Chinese traditional flowers, such as : plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, Dutch, etc., they were praised by ancient knowledgeable people, carved by craftsmen, which also carries a rich and symbolic meaning, the infiltration of people's lives in every corner. It is reflected the Chinese attitudes and habits about the flower such as aesthetic image, is condensed thousands of years of wisdom about china, reflecting the ancient Chinese people's attitude of respect nature, love nature, and the human concept of harmony between man and nature. This aesthetic attitude of image about flowers with a wide range of identity, long-standing historical and cultural health, it is linked with the Chinese traditional literature, philosophy, painting, folklore, arts and crafts, etc. which includes a number of moral and symbolic, but also triggered many of the practical values are still impact on our lives. The flower in Western arts and crafts like paintings also contains a symbolic meaning, but especially people are accustomed to from the perspective of scientific understanding of nature, explore the natural, in-depth study of the physical properties and practical value after the Renaissance, flower paintings provide a solid basis for promoting the development of the Western natural sciences in the West Plant science, biology, medicine and other disciplines, so enriched people's lives and cultural environment. Therefore, this paper attempts to discuss the differences and similarities in aesthetics about flower image between China and West, as well as creative difference in different cultural basis through case studies, and points out in the end that it is the differences in flower image between China and West is what expressed the richness of human cultural values in the world.
