The experiences in her works come form the bottom people's life. She is good at writing the novels'characters hearts. She describes the change process of the countryside and farmers who are encountering urbanization process of modern China, she often shows the cities'existence what are in the opposition of countryside. Being one of the contemporary female writers who has a close relationship with land, Sun Huifen's childhood experience which was spent in countryside stimulates her writing motivation and accumulates lavish writing materials for her, and it also determines her writing themes which are about the things between the city and the countryside. Since Sun Huifen entered the literary world by her first novel which is called Sitting In The Wedding Bed In Silence in 1982, her creation has been rising, her rural experiences form countryside to city are the source of her creativity. Her female identity and special experience of a rural woman making her to look into the village in a different way form the men writers. So her works give a real show of rural women's feeling and lives. In a sense, Sun Huifen's writing is a self-experience and self-expression. Her creativity is always with the characteristics of her own signs which meanings that her own history is closely related.
