Manuscript is a kind of recording, which is written by various professionals in the way of writing and drawing. it is impromptu and unrepeatable. Texts and figures in manuscripts have natural intimacy, and affects the book form. There are many important aspects of manuscript, and this paper discussed the aesthetic value of the manuscript, and summerised aesthetic value of manuscript as simple, humanity and visual. Beautifulness of manuscript is exhibited in an integrated manner to the viewer. The aesthetic characteristics of artists' manuscript is more prominent. Manuscripts can be applied widely in making illustrations, which mainly depend on the way of thinking and artistic form. In addition, manuscript were also found in a lot of free paintings. Electronic media era is a challenge for traditionally manuscript, such as CG (Computer Graphics) , which gives a sinificantly influnce both in positively and negatively for the usage of traditionally manuscripts in making illustrations.However, manuscript is still a highlight using in today's digital illustrations.
