From Plato to Derrida, every ideologist who has a certain extent of degree in the history would clarify this issue. As the founder of modern psychology, Freud opens a brand-new theoretical room for it by standing in the psychodynamics view. He leads the method of dynamic mental energy in the research of memory issue. And he argues that memory is not an absolutely copy of the events itself, the memory would be changed by the comprehension of events which the cognitive subject made, and by the emotion which events brought. Freud exposes and releases the nosogenetic memories which repressed into the unconsciousness by Talking Cures. Lacan has a series of argument for the intrinsic rationality of Talking Cures. In the end, memory turns emotional constructed, to language constructed. So it has become a kind of language behavior which is neither inner nor exterior, from inner emotional movement.Standing in the analogy of A Note upon the"Mystic Writing Pad", Derrida finally leads memory to writing trace, and also to the whole symbolic system. In this theoretical background, any signify would change our memory which seemed firm. It is the self-evident of the false memory.Literature is a huge signify production machine, narrator could change the reader's memories stealthily. But it is not a simple unilateral movement from writer to reader. The same as reader, narrator also belongs to a more huge society signify reference, and just in this reference, the narration which sends by narrator would be accepted by the reader. . | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Freud, Memory, Writing | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
