Zhao Mei has been active in the literary circles for twenty years, she has built "a beautiful village"(FengJicai) with her genius and her hard-working. This village, eclectic, yet unique. Zhao Mei has a preference for female subjects, the deep consciousness of women and the performance of the life nature. Lust is a basis that she thinks about sexual relations. Thoughts on the desire run through all of her works in all types of subject and in all her time. We can sort out two distinct expression of female desire from these works: the repressed desires and patience, the desire of the release and the publicity, and realize the contradictions and complex characteristics through the variations of the desire expression. This article's study for Zhao Mei's works from the perspective of female lust subjects, expect to have a deep understanding about the meaning of this "beautiful village" in women's literature.The text is divided into three chapters. The first chapter, the desire - the essence of life that we cannot avoid, a brief description of the theory of the desire and the desire's expression of contemporary women's literature to focus on analyzing Zhao Mei writing's characteristics of a desire. The second chapter, two types of expression and its cultural connotation of the desire: reality scenes and historical scenes, compared to two types of subjects, analyze the expression of the two types of lust and the reason for the change from traditional to modern reasons. The third chapter, the difficult transformation - the incomplete sublimation: main study of urban love stories to analyze the variations of Zhao Mei's expression and to analyze concretely two types of contemporary women: to lost or to overstep. Conclusion summarizes the feminist standpoint and explores the possibility of Zhao Mei's writing.
