On The Perspective Of Cross-border Phenomenon, In The Modern Novel Writing

Point of View has been one of the most important topics in narratology since 1950s. Although in a mess, it is an inevitable topic that every narratologist who study novel would never miss. Perspective of the previous confused the sound and vision and mainly focused on classification. This situation has been cleared since Gerard Genette who has distincted"who says"and"who looks"clearly.In the context above, the present thesis will try to find out what the cross-border perspective is. In order to discuss this topic, we should find out the definition and the classification of the viewpoint, we also should find out the natures and the functions of different kinds of viewpoint. After a low period , narratology is full of new vitality, that's because it can absorb a wide range of other theories and it's actively expanding area of research. The thesis based on the"rhetorical theory of narrative"borrowed ideas from Stylistics, Linguistics, Anglo-American New Criticism and Reception Aesthetics to point out the inevitability of this phenomenon occurred and different forms and types of the cross-border. All this will be on the basic of the analysis of the concept and classification of the perspective.The thesis will analysis and digest"paralipsis"and"paralepsis"combined with texts after analysising the cross-perspective raised by Gerard Genette. The thesis holds that Gerard Genette made a mess between the voice and the view. Although the"paralipsis"exists in the novels , the traditional meaning of"paralipsis"is not the strict sense of it. The thesis will analysis and renew it with some texts. As to the"paralepsis", the thesis will analysis the narrative effect and aesthetic value of the novels that come from different countries and periods on the basic of the analysis of the other scholars.The cross-perspective has broken the traditional perspective of the novel mode of creation, and gradually become a new kind of etiquette. It will promote with the appropriate use of the innovation and development of novel, it also can bring the readers new aesthetic enjoyment.
