Morality has broad and narrow definitions. The narrow definition of morality refers specifically to morality of people: the"should of"personality of people corresponding to the stages of social development. However, the broad definition of morality refers to the virtues of all and in a broader sense it refers to the virtue of all existences: the combination of purpose and regularity in the development of the existences which is the specialty makes them to be themselves. The analysis of Pu Songling's morality is to see what kind of people he is and to what extent of his personality corresponding to the regularity and purpose. His morality refers to his attitude to the human beings or the human beings"should of"personality in his attitude. This paper analyzes the morality and the concept of morality of Pu Songling, as well as the significance of aesthetics shown in these two aspects. The full text is divided into four parts:Part One: The formation of Pu Songling's morality. This part mainly analyses the factors which affect the formation of Pu Songling's morality and moral value, and it is demonstrated from the social and personal factors.Social factors refer to the effects of China traditional moral values ,it briefly summarizes the development of theories from Xianqin to Ming Dynasty,especially the effects of Confucianism to Pu songling. Personal factors mainly refer to the effects of Pu Songling's family tradition and personal experiences.Part Two :Quality of moral value in Pu Songling's style. First, he always tent to be kindness, for kindness is the main character of his moral value. We can find this from Pu's behavior and from his works. Second, he chooses to be moral in a strong will. The chooses was expressed by , for one part, his self chosen which includes the emphasis on practice and the pursuit for mentally development and for another, his social chosen which includes his paying attention to the people's livelihood and the protection of the justice. Third, he has a will of iron in morality which includes three parts: 1. If a goal was set, he will do it immediately without any hesitation. 2. he persist on his mind of being kind, and carry it out with a strong mind. 3. to protect the justice in the world 4.Part Three: The main content of Pu's sense of moral value. According to an analysis, it is not difficult for us to feel Pu's thoughts about life. It includes five parts: 1. his opinion about kindness and evil. In Pu's opinion, the counterpart of kindness is evil, one could enjoy a happy life if he could be always kindness. 2. his opinion about virtue and morality. He thinks it is good to behave virtually and criticize the immorality. He told us to have a sound judgment on benefits. He said, benefits and virtue always comes together. 3. his opinion about intelligence and brave. The following are the main points in this part: to find the essence form appearance; to work hard until get successes; behave properly within one's ability. 4. the family ethics, which include the following points: all the family members must get along well with each other; The wife and the husband have the same social position; one should have a mind of thanking others.5. the mental development of oneself . In Pu's opinion, one should not be flighty and greedy, by contrast, one must always try to respect himself.Part Four:The aesthetic embodiment of Pu Songling's moral value. Moral value has a intimate terms with beauty. The social evolvement is actually the practical procedure of human being running for moral value. In general, Pu's moral value has the following aesthetic embodiment: harmony and loftiness. Harmony includes external harmony, self-harmony and figural harmony. Pu Songling's loft moral contains such characteristics: being not afraid of might and petitioning for people; being willing to sacrifice himself; regarding man as essential; enduring humiliation in order to carry out an important mission.; holding on his ideal; inspiring awe by upholding justice. In this article by combing Pu's some comments with some of his books the author illustrates that this aesthetic characteristic is well embodied in Pu's moral world. The transcendence of ideology was mainly analyzed from two aspects that are chasing for real individuality and longing for a poetic life.
