Zou Tao-fen "experience" The Study Of Autobiography

Mr. Zou Taofen is a famous journalist, patriot, and democratic fighter in modern Chinese history, whose life experiences are rich but winding. Mr. Zou Taofen wrote three autobiographies in different times, which were entitled "Experiences", "since the War of Resistance against Japan", and "Adversities in my life". Not only are these three works representative autobiographies of modern Chinese intellects, but they are also full of literariness due to intense emotions and vivid images.This thesis can be generally divided into three parts. First of all, in the introduction and the first chapter, we will introduce the main points of Zou's three autobiographies and the background for the three works. After that, we will discuss the different copies of one autobiography, and what we can learn from different versions about societal and political conditions of various times.Then, from the second chapter to the fourth chapter, we will analyze the characteristics of Zou' three autobiographies from three aspects: the works reveal the true path of the heroine; the works have rich literature; the works adequately reflect the background of the times. And we can get the ideas what factors attribute to an excellent biography.Finally, in the fifth chapter and the conclusion, we will determine the position of Zou Taofen's autobiographies in the history of modern Chinese biographic literatrue. According to comparatively sufficient analysis above, we can understand that Zou Taofen's three autobiographies have something special compared with other person's autobiographies. In the three books, appraisal of the author himself and of others is objective, and therefore the three books can be considered "authentic history". We can also learn this from the fact that materials of the three autobiographies were quoted repeatedly by other authors of biographies. These characteristics are enlightening to other persons who plan to write autobiographies.
