| Mr. Lu Jianming, previously describes the role of special meaningless function word of which derived from his book"Modern Chinese Special Meaningless Function Word"as follows:"Meaningless Function Words have played a major role in the diversity of languages around the world. Chinese language is one of a few, that doesn't employ strict rules when indicating shape change, function word therefore plays a more important role within the grammar syntax."Meaningless Function Words is subject to difficulty in the field of Chinese language learning, when acquiring it as a second language. This article believes that in some cases, the use of"de"in the phrase N1(de)N2 , to use, or not to use it, really affect the effectiveness of communication flow. But this does not become the main concern of researchers, teachers and students.The reasons include teaching methods, written materials as that of textbooks, reference books are demanded to have a fixed Grammar Outlines,Structures and Formats well recorded.These then becomes the important factors in the acquisition of"de".First of all, this paper based literature, is a whole summary of that of"N1(de)N2"structure, surfaced research findings here will be shown and stated in two ways; referring to semantic syntax, and the rhetoric temperament accordingly.Secondly, this article observes the popular way of grammar outlines and structures within Chinese teaching textbooks and references available in the market. Research findings show, common deficiencies still exist, general explanation provided still is beyond clarity, and on top of that, difficult to grasp. Teaching materials and outlines are still of uneven standard depth and syntax description.Then, through years of meticulous collection and analysis of students papers, we have come to simple findings, overlooking at 2 types of biased errors. In short, we refined it into seven sub-categories as an important foundation for design and testing reference.Having set well all the preparatory work, we rolled out a test and did a small-scale pre-tests on three classes of two different grades to measure this paper's reasonable degree of success. Following this action, we then conducted a large-scale test of some 264 students' test papers. Provided with two preliminary researches done, we now analyze further test results, eliminating minor factors to find out the crux of the problem.Finally, when the crux of the problem combined together with former research results, we can now put forward a series of recommendations on new grammar outlines within textbooks, reference materials, and teaching methods. In which its application within teaching methods comes to utmost importance above all. Most of our teachers however are still required to be detective and quick witted in class. We have also provided further details of the proposed educational proposal, to be viewed as part of our contribution towards Chinese teaching. |
