Because water is the key element in the relationship between the natural environment and human beings, also closely connected to the development of a city, it can even be called a prerequisite for the founding of the city. Therefore, the existence of these four rivers directly influence, even decide the choices and changes of the site on which ancient cities were built in Luoyang district. Based on a brief introduction of the four sites in Luoyang, this paper focuses on the interactive relations between water environment and urban development, in order to summarize some laws between the development of Luoyang and its water environment and also as a reference to the current urban development of Luoyang. The whole text is divided into five parts.Firstly, it is an introduction. This part mainly elaborated the selected topic overall understanding and the macroscopic assurance, mainly introduced the selected topic basis, the correlation research narrates and comments and studies the mentality and the method. Finally, the overall Luoyang Basin natural environment, particularly the specific layout and changing circumstances of the four rivers—Yi, Luo, Chan and Jian (Water Valley).Secondly, the influence of all water systems to the development of the city before the Sui dynasty. Before Sui, there are four major sites in Luoyang City: Erlitou site in Yanshi mall sites, Zhou Wei Luo Han Luoyi Yangcheng sites and sites, the study is divided into sessions on the Xia, Shang, Western Zhou and Eastern Zhou, Han Dynasty and Wei Dynasty respectively, in each period on the influence of Rivers Yi, Luo, Chan and Jian to the choice of the capital sites, and interaction between urban development and the rivers, thus lay the foundation for the study of the Sui and Tang Dynasties in Luoyang City.Thirdly, the structure of Sui Luoyang City crossing the old site and the principle of its special layout. Luoyang City in the Sui Dynasty, Luoshui is consistent, and leads Yi, Chan, and Jian into the city. The main part of Luoyang City in the Sui and Tang dynasties Crossing old principles and the reasons for the siting, and the resulting special city layout.Fourthly, the interaction between the Rivers Yi, Luo, Chan and Jian and Luoyang City in the Sui and Tang dynasties. First, a detailed discussion on the water systems of Luoyang in the Sui and Tang dynasties, including the city drainage system, as well ad the city fountains; second, a textual research on the negative impact of the threat of the canals, analyzing their implications for various aspects of urban destruction, as well as the measures people have taken to reduce flood.Fifthly, Tongji drainage and Luoyang City in Sui and Tang dynasties. And the impact of the canal on the Luoyang is also great, the paper mainly discusses two aspects in details—its impact to the commercial distribution and warehousing industry.Lastly, laws and revelations of the interactive relations between Luoyang water environment and urban development From the summary, through the laws and revelations of the interactive relations between Luoyang water environment and urban development, I have the following opinions:First, Luoyang in the choice of the five cities, mostly along the north shore of the Luohe layout that Mengluo more suitable for the north bank of the founding of the city and Habitat The five cities along the river changes direction things are moving, and something less than 100, for the dorsal surface Luo Mangshan. Luoyang City site that the changes are constrained by mountains and rivers.Second, the city of Luoyang City Sui shape and urban layout of the site, the surrounding water by its environmental impact. Sui and Tang Chengyuan Luoyang City landscape based on the geographical situation of the opportunity bending; urban layout Pianjixibeiyu Miyagi appeared on the market, landscaping, warehousing and other mostly located in the vicinity of canals.Third, the choice of the site in the city and the process of change have been accompanied by people on the water environment of constant awareness, transformation and use, especially during the Sui and Tang dynasties on the environmental impact of the largest water.
