Ge Hong(葛洪),who was the famous Taoist scholar ,and born in Tai Kang 5th year in Western Jin Dynasty (284) and died in the Xing Ning 1st year of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (362).He identified himself"not the pure confucian but the shame for the end of the confucian scholar".Jin Shu Ge Hong recorded his important works Bao Puzi Wai Pian(《抱朴子·外篇》)and Bao Puzi Nei Pian(《抱朴子·内篇》).The author's preface recorded,The Nei Pian is belong to Taoism which is about supernatural being,strange medi,ghost and god,keeping in good health,and keeping off the disadvangtages ,the Wai Pian is belong to confucianism which is about the real affairs of the world.Bao Puzi Wai Pian, most of the papers before focused on the nature to be attributed to the Confucian or Taoist , thus it became ambiguous disputes. I wrote this paper is no longer limited to these comments but directly quoted the text of the works of Ge Hong's, from the reasonable use of the content of Confucian thinking , and would like to promote social and political development, try to reveal the ideological tendency of the times reflected in Waipian as reference that we study Confucianism. Some of Confucian thinking in Wai Pian reflected are not entirely reflected the interpretation of the Confucian classics, but a combination of Confucian theory and ideology of the pre-Qin reasonable various school to replenish its own books, to guide their own social and life ideal , and to seek new way . In fact,in Waipian he also believed that Confucian thought has also outdated and need improvement,which gave us ,in the specific form of society and reality, how to use and develop Confucianism, as well as on the Confucian project to be transformed, to provide reference and new ideas.The valuable aspect of Ge Hong lies, on the one hand, as a Taoist scholars, not completely absorbed in the study of alchemy, and on the other hand, was still concerned about common people in the dark, corrupt society. He once had entered political stratum, and then retired from the political arena to write book ,which is not for escapism, but rather through his works, particularly in his Wai Pian displayed their political talents, and shown noble sentiments he does not meet intendly the Lord, but, as he said Not bear to distort the fact and contrary to the genuine; heart should be consisetent with what I said, when recalled the time I would not feel ashamed and hoped that there would pople who are deeply appreciative of my talents. Bao Puzi Wai Pian Yingchao《抱朴子·外篇·应嘲》This paper is divided into five chapters. The first part is Ge Hong's biography; The second chapter is status quo and reseach method on Bao Puzi ;The third writes thought background of Wei and Jin dynasties; The fourth writes Bao Puzi Wai Pian s political thought, this part developed from his view about monarch-subject, person with ability, the Penal Code; The fifth Chapter discuss social thought.In short, Bao Puzi Wai Pian, whether in the history of Taoism or Confucianism history, it is an important academic value of the classics, and has scholars discussed. Among them, Lu Xun is from the perspective of literary history to understand early. when he listed tweleve books required reading in the 1920s for students to study Chinese literature, Bao Puzi Wai Pian had been included. Despite some elements of Bao Puzi Wai Pian has been not consisitent with the original one,the ideological implication is rich and vivid, and have a certain political significance and academic value, worthy of deep thought and continue to explore future argumentation .
