With the development of modern Chinese drama as the starting point, this paper'author attempts to understand the writer Strindberg from a brand new multi-angle and attempts to analyze his late works as well as the works of some Chinese playwrights who have been greatly influenced by Strindberg in the history of early Chinese modern drama. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of Strindberg's dramatic expressionism on Chinese modern drama.Strindberg is one of the pioneers of the three major in modern Europe drama, the drama of their outstanding literary works in the world occupies an important position, and the countries in the world of theatre reform and development and plays an important role in promoting the impact. He focuses on revealing the inner world of the figures and shows the irrational subconscious and unconscious through the use of dreamy atmosphere, inner monologue and symbol means etc. He also shows figures' inner life impulse and conflicts.China's creation of Strindberg' drama began to accept the "May 4th" period, In the 1920s ,Strindberg is the most focus on the performance of foreign countries to send one of the authors. Early Chinese playwright's works also focus on the inner world of figures and attempt to reveal the true face of the society. In order to reveal the main thrust of drama, early Chinese playwright took everything they can use from Strindberg's rich drama performance means, and they also made some changes and innovations, which made China's early modern drama both profound and vivid.Early Chinese playwright of Strindberg's study, there are misreading both deformation, the performance of the Strindberg'play draw with the art of choice for the 1920s in China with Chinese characteristics and dedication of the performance of drama. The localization of modern drama made a significant contribution from its long stagnation of Chinese drama, vanity and backward situation, the innovation of the new situation of the Chinese drama.
