Rural Residents In Life Satisfaction

In our country, the research of evolution of residents' life satisfaction starts late, the research results also mature late. Most of the researches are for schools and hospitals, but rural resident on life satisfaction research in this area is not enough attention to academics. This study to define the live of resident content and structure of the dimension, prepare the prediction questionnaire and analyses the characteristics of the satisfaction of residents in the rural area as well as relative factors. Depended on the study of open questionnaire and interviews, the author makes a comprehensive analysis of the life satisfaction at home and abroad, and put forward his ideal theories combining his own literature review and small sample test. Using exploratory factor he analyses and extracts the eligible test items and through confirmatory factor analyses and detect the concept of the model fitting results, At the same time the author makes up the questionnaire which is suitable for the measurement of life satisfaction of rural residents and test its reliability and validity. Then he makes a formal survey about the situation of rural residents' living satisfaction. After inspecting the characteristics of life satisfaction finally he raises a number of proposals about the social development of new rural community against these characteristics.During the course of study he links the sociology,psychology,statistics and other discipline theory to the practical situation of rural resident. In the principle of seeking truth from facts ,the author makes efforts to investigate and analyses so that to construct the index system of localized satisfaction. The result of this research as follow:1. Compile the scale of rural resident satisfaction about life, which is made up of five dimensions: the living and working condition, political and cultural life, the macro-environments, family and interpersonal agreeing with individuals. In a word, the whole scale has high reliability and validity.2. The structure of rural residents' life satisfaction is different from that of urban life satisfaction in the study. The impact on rural life satisfaction of the resident don't contain the factor of their own health ,housing condition and recreation and other aspects .Compared with urban residents which affects life satisfaction factors personal and environment identity is its unique aspects3. Rural residents get the highest scores in the family and interpersonal dimension .This shows that the family and interpersonal relationship play an irreplaceable role in their lives. That is also the main factors that affect rural life satisfaction4. Rural residents obtain higher scores in the personal and environment dimension .This is a special dimension with the comparisons of the urban residents .They can become the content of life satisfaction and get higher scores ,which shows that it is very important to be accepted by themselves and others and environment.5. However, in the macroeconomic and environment dimension rural residents get lower scores .As a macro, indirect dimension the rural residents affect little .But it also reflects the rural residents do not have much understanding of the macroeconomic environment.
