At This Point The Moment,

This article shows my thinking and experience during creation for graduation. It analyses how to show the real feeling world in the process of woodcut creation, think of painterly language of print-making in the present age and search and practice about the expressive form and content of woodcut creation . It is expounded from the following three parts.First, it is about feel and suspicion.. I analyze my creation experience from some aspects of works which comes from real things fully and sensuously . The theme of works and the way of expression is fixed on present things and art which are felt and doubted.Second, it is about printing plates and pictures. Through expounding how to establish the sense of form from the angle of printing plates and pictures. We can re-know that woodcut is one kind of drawing style and is an art with the character of repeat through art expression of carving and printing. Print-making doesn't mean a kind of strict copy and enlargement but reflects artist's idea during his period of creation and self-discipline of objects.Third ,it is about direction and perplexity . It can be known that the feel and suspicion in the period of creation are one kind of way to attention of reality and life after thinking about creation and the relationship between art and nature and society . At the moment, we know what direction and choice we want.
